Digital Art and Design
A survey course that combines the study of technology, design and aesthetic principles as they apply to twenty-first century visual media. Students learn how fundamental concepts of art and design apply to a broad range of commercial, expressive and entertainment forms. Students also study the democratization of the creative process through digital media, using current technology to produce sophisticated and expressive examples of personal digital creativity.

Quick Admit App Design
For my final project, I created a design for a mobile application. My app, Quick Admit, is a platform for school administrators to manage the admissions process in one place.
Once I defined the concept and scope of the app, I decided upon the typography and color scheme of the application. Next, I used Adobe Illustrator to create the logo for the app as well as icons to be used in the design for intuitive navigation. I started to create lo-fi wireframes to map out the layout and features in a user-friendly manner. These evolved into hi-fi mockups that portray the real feel and look of the application.
With the design complete, I used Adobe Xd to create a fully interactive prototype of the app. Interact with the design here or watch the video demonstration below.
